Accessibility Statement

The BallUp website is built to conform to Israeli Standard IS 5568 at level AA, in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments for Service).
What the site does
- Full keyboard navigation, with a clear focus indicator on every interactive element.
- Colour contrast that meets level AA across all text, including text sitting over photographs and gradients.
- Anything shown on hover is also reachable by keyboard and by screen reader — the badge definitions and the court details on the map.
- Site content is fully understandable without animation, and animations turn off automatically when the operating system has a reduced-motion preference set.
- Alternative text for images, and a hierarchical heading structure for screen readers. Background illustration is marked decorative and is not announced.
- Full support for Hebrew and right-to-left layout.
How it was checked
Testing covers an automated scan of every page in both languages, contrast measured on the pixels the text actually covers, and manual checks of keyboard navigation and of how the site behaves with a reduced-motion preference set.

Known limitations
The signup form embeds a Cloudflare Turnstile verification widget. It is a third-party component and we do not control its code. If it makes signing up difficult for you, write to us and we will add you to the list by hand.
